PHOENIX CONSULTANCY:

Phoenix Tas-Moanan Consultancy (PTMC) is for hiring to run public-university workshops, lecturers, researches, advices/consultations, etc., on Moanan-Tongan culture, oral traditions, arts, politics, history & society (by Mr Siosiua Lafitani Tofua'ipangai).

PTMC can run consultations, workshops and lecturers on the importance for both youth and adult of attaining a better education either on technical or academic terms, or both levels (by Siosiua).

Women group consulations on issues relating to domestic violence, drugs, abuse, youth, etc. can be conducted as well by Ms Lucy (Luseane) Tuita.

PHOENIX PERFORMING ARTS OF MOANA

Welcome to Phoenix Performing Arts’ website!

The mythical story of the Phoenix rising out of the ashes embodies the history of this dance company. We hope your experience of discovery through this website will be a pleasurable one.

This is a story about lives, their transition and continuously evolving during this wonderful journey.

Our aims are simple but integral to our stories and our hopes, not only for ourselves but for others.

AIMS:

To be pro-active in maintaining ancient traditional Pacific Island arts and to support the research and the revival of what has been lost.

To connect the past to the present by integrating the ‘old’ with the ‘new’ through dance

To embrace other cultural arts on a global level in the knowledge it will enhance the growth of Phoenix.

To promote arts as a way of enhancing people’s lives.

To include the technical and theoretical as an integral part of teaching students.

We hope this website will take you beyond the horizon of the worlds to the Tangaloas, Mauis and Hikule’o, the gods and goddess of Polynesia in ancient times.
